The Harper Zuefle Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a Laurel Oaks senior. Harper was a young student in the Acorn Center who was tragically killed. The recipient of this special honor not only meets high standards in both academic and career skills, but is also an individual who “lights up a room” just as Harper’s presence always did.
Scholarship Criteria for the Harper Zuefle Memorial Scholarship
- Meets the overall criteria for the Great Oaks Education Foundation Scholarships.
- Applicant attends Laurel Oaks.
- Applicant is a student with a disability/504 plan. In the event that no student with a disability/504 plan applies or is eligible, then a typical student is eligible.
- Essay Prompt: Minimum of 500 words
