The Angela M. and John G. Halpin Skilled Labor Grant $500

The Angela M. and John G. Halpin Grant is given in recognition of the Halpins’ belief in the value and need for skilled labor.  The Halpin Family believes in the importance of providing our adult and high school graduates the tools and equipment needed to be successful as they start their careers.  They also believe in the importance of continuing to increase their skills through education and earning additional credentials in their field.  Applicants must be enrolled and completing their Great Oaks education in the following programs in order to be eligible.

Welding Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning
Commercial & Residential Electricity Construction Technology
Construction, Framing and Finishing Heavy Equipment
Precision Machining Diesel Mechanics
Auto Collision Auto Mechanics
Engineering and Robotics Masonry

Scholarship Criteria for the Angela M. and John G. Halpin Skilled Labor Grant

  1. Meets the overall criteria for the Great Oaks Education Foundation Scholarships.
  1. Applicant attends one of the four Great Oaks Career Campuses.
  1. Be successful in her/his career/technical program.
